Trongsa -Trongsa dzong built in 1648 is the ancestral home of the Royal family. The dzong is at a very highly stratigic position and is the only connecting route between the east and west.

Tourist Information: VISITING BHUTAN: Visitors must book their passage through one of the registered tour operators in Bhutan. They can approach the operator directly or contact their counterparts abroad. The minimum tariff set by the Tourism Authority of Bhutan(TAB) is US$ 200 per day.
